DTS Team Member Recognized for His Contributions to Audio Industry

NEW YORK -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- For over 60 years, the Audio Engineering Society has been the largest gathering of audio professionals and enthusiasts on the globe, attracting delegates from over 100 countries worldwide. This year, DTS, Inc. (NASDAQ:DTSI) sent its world-class team of audio engineers to attend and host panels that address current trends in the industry. Members of the DTS team (which includes Richard J. Beaton, Zoran Fejzo, James “JJ” Johnston, Jean-Marc Jot and Paul Smith) have been responsible for some of the most important innovations in audio engineering in the last twenty years, including the creation of the MPEG format.

This past Friday, the team had even more reason to celebrate as one of their members, Jean-Marc Jot, was presented with the prestigious AES Fellowship Award.
