Veteran Democratic Lobbyist and Former Senate Judiciary Committee Staffer Joins PCT Government Relations

WASHINGTON -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- PCT Government Relations, LLC announced today that Brian W. Fitzgerald, former Partner at Bingham McCutchen LLP, has joined as Partner. Mr. Fitzgerald will provide services that help clients assess the strategic and political landscape around various issues such as antitrust, environment, energy, intellectual property, trade, tax, financial reform and telecommunications.

Mr. Fitzgerald has been lobbying and practicing law in Washington, DC for nearly 30 years. He has represented a number of companies and industry coalitions in a diverse range of public policy issues.

In addition to his public policy practice, Mr. Fitzgerald has expertise in federal election law, government ethics rules, and lobbying/foreign agent registration and reporting matters. He also has expertise in representing targets of congressional oversight and investigation matters.

Prior to entering the private sector, Mr. Fitzgerald worked on the Majority Staff of the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary, Subcommittee on the Constitution, under Subcommittee Chairman Sen. Birch Bayh (D-IN).

Mr. Fitzgerald received his J.D. from the Antioch School of Law, where he was a member of the Antioch Law Journal, and a B.S. in Business from Indiana University. He is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia bars.
