-- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Council for American Medical Innovation:
| WHAT: |
As California continues its economic recovery, medical innovation will be the key to future growth opportunity, job creation and ultimately saving lives. With San Francisco being the home to over 47 life sciences companies and more public biotechnology companies than any other region in the country, it is clear why several San Francisco-based leaders in biotechnology, academia, labor, health, and medicine will be discussing the importance of medical innovation and how it can and will drive opportunity, job creation and growth in Northern California’s economy.
Additionally, panelists will seek to address how California can keep its bright and talented young researchers, nurses, doctors, engineers, and scientists in the state, while continuing to protect and grow San Francisco’s successful and sustainable biopharmaceutical industry capitalizing on the academic institutions and life sciences infrastructure already present in the state. Panelists will also discuss how new discoveries in life sciences and medicine are critical to the state’s future economic success and overall health of its citizens. |
