Vizada Provides Managed Satellite Broadband Services to ARINC for Major Military Contract

WASHINGTON, DC -- (Marketwire) -- 06/14/10 -- Vizada, the world's leading satellite communications provider, has been selected by ARINC to help fulfill a Department of Defense contract for international broadband services. The managed services agreement highlights the strong and expanding relationship between Vizada and ARINC, which has moved beyond mobile satellite services (MSS)/L-band services and into fixed service satellite (FSS) broadband services, as well as the continued need by the military for strategic use of commercial satellite services.

Vizada will manage and host an international broadband network for ARINC and its customer that provides global access through the iDirect Ku band managed services network. Vizada will also provide the 24/7/365 service and support required by the customer and ARINC.

This event marks the expansion of this relationship into FSS services. In December 2009, the companies also announced they will provide Inmarsat Aero H+, Aero I, Aero L packet data services, and Aero H+ voice services over Inmarsat's I-4 satellite network, as well as over the previous generation Inmarsat I-3 satellites.
