Lambda's new high current, high efficiency PAF700F power modules, provide up to 58.5A in the industry standard full brick package, measuring 2.4 x 4.6 x 0.5". Designed using the latest techniques and components, the new DC-DC converters boast a power density of over 126W/in(3), and addresses the requirements of distributed power applications and base station power amplifiers by offering two nominal output voltage choices of 12 and 28V. These new modules are available with efficiencies of up to 90 percent.

"Base Station Amplifier customers are requiring more power from the standard size packages," said Lambda Marketing Director David Norton. "This extension to our PAF Full Brick series helps them offer more power per site and the ability to power next generation 32V amplifiers."
The PAF700F Series accepts a 48 VDC input models and provides a fully regulated output at power levels of 700W, across a wide range input of 36-76 VDC.
The PAF700F Series offers nominal single output voltages of either 12 or 28VDC. All modules come with a wide voltage adjustment feature as standard, capable of adjusting the output between 7.2 to 13.8V or 16.8 to 32.2VDC. Other standard features include current sharing, remote sense, overvoltage and overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown, remote on / off, and 1500VAC isolation.
Operating temperature is -40 degrees C to +100 degrees C with a baseplate. The modules can be convection or forced air-cooled. All models are approved to UL1950, CSA22.2 NO. 950-95, EN60950, and carry the CE mark.
Pricing starts at $238 in 100 piece quantities. All models are available from stock to twelve weeks.
