FREMONT--- Emuzed Appoints Bo Larsson President, Announces Additional Executive Appointments
Emuzed today announced several management appointments in order to enhance its position as a leading provider of PC, Mobile, and Consumer Electronics multimedia products.
Bo Larsson has been appointed as Emuzed's new President. Larsson is a highly experienced business executive and has over 20 years of engineering, marketing, international channel development and management experience in the PC, mobile and telecommunication businesses. Prior to Emuzed, Larsson was corporate vice president and general manager of Sony Ericsson, where he was instrumental in establishing the joint venture as one of the leading mobile handset providers in the North American market. Larsson held a number of senior management positions prior to Sony Ericsson including time as CEO of TouchWave Inc, CEO of ScanView Inc., and as VP and GM of data storage and computer peripheral products at Sony Corporation. He holds an MBA from University of Goteborg, Sweden and a Masters in applied physics from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden.

Emuzed also said that Bhupen Shah has been appointed as the Chief Technology and Strategy Officer. In this role, he will be responsible for providing overall strategy and technology guidance for Emuzed's PC business, focused on development of cutting-edge multimedia products. Shah, who is a co-founder of Emuzed, previously served as the company's COO and EVP of Engineering, and played a key role in establishing its leadership position in the video capture / editing and PC TV Tuner markets. Prior to Emuzed, he worked as VP of Product and Technology Development at Real Chip, and served as VP of Software Engineering at Dazzle. He received his MS in CS/EE from The University of Michigan.
Emuzed also announced that Shankar Narayanan has been appointed as Corporate Vice President and General Manager. Narayanan previously served as the VP of Business Development and Operations at Emuzed, where he has provided the operations, marketing, and engineering expertise needed to grow the company from technology start-up to market leader. He is a co-founder of Emuzed and has over 18 years of management experience in the technology industry in India and the US. Before Emuzed he was heading Nexus Inc., USA as Vice President of Business Development. He has also held senior management positions at British Physical Laboratories, Aurelec Systems and Nexus computers. He received his Bachelors in Electronics Engineering and Masters in Marketing and Administration from the University of Madurai.
