Island Pacific (AMEX:IPI) announced today Michael Silverman has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Silverman became a director in January 2001. He founded Advanced Remote Communication Solutions, Inc. (formerly known as Boatracs, Inc.) in 1990. He served as its Chairman until May 2002, and as Chief Executive Officer and President until October 1997, and again from November 1999 to May 2002. Mr. Silverman previously was the chairman and chief executive officer of the Sussex Group of Companies, which included Huffman-Koos, Barker Bros., and Colby's retail furniture stores. Mr. Silverman is a Chartered Accountant and has an M.B.A. from Stanford University. Harvey Braun will continue as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

Larry Page, Founder and President of Page Digital, has over 30 years of experience owning, operating and building Page Digital. He has been appointed to serve as Chief Operating Officer in addition to his role as Chief Technology Officer. Steve Beck will continue as President of Island Pacific.

David Joseph has been appointed Senior Vice President of Sales for the group. Mr. Joseph has served for the last 10 years as Executive Vice President and Director of Page. Mr. Joseph has over 20 years experience as a Vice President of Sales and Marketing in the software industry.
