Zyxel Experiences 71% Growth in Unit Shipments Year-Over-Year While Overall Broadband CPE Increases 11%, Says In-Stat

SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 06/27/11 -- In 1Q11, 38 million broadband CPE units shipped, a 2% increase from the previous quarter and an 11% increase from the same quarter last year. Zyxel contributed to the overall market growth with an impressive 71% increase in year-over-year unit shipments according to In-Stat (www.in-stat.com).

"Residential gateway unit shipments were down slightly from the previous quarter but up 34.4% from the same quarter last year," says Brad Shaffer, Analyst. "This continues to be the fastest growing product segment over the past year and is on pace for double-digit growth again in 2011."
