Concerto Networks originally recruited Eigner in November 2003 to serve on its Board of Advisors.

Eigner brings more than 17 years of corporate and technology legal experience to his new position on the Board of Directors. As Partner at Procopio, he specializes in venture capital, corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions. Eigner also has expertise in competitive business practices, intellectual property protection, securities, business financing and operations, and corporate and business transactions related to telecommunications, electronic commerce, biotechnology and energy. His extensive experience also includes contracts, regulatory issues and government relations.

He is also a director of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Chamber's Energy and Public Policy committees. He is a member of the San Diego Venture Group and the San Diego Telecom Council, where he serves as chairman of the Telecom Council's Policy Committee. He served as a United States Supreme Court Judicial Intern in 1981. Eigner earned a Bachelor's degree from Stanford University in 1981 and a Law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1986.
