STG Names Bob Phoebus SVP, Defense Sector

RESTON, Va. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- STG, Inc. (STG) has hired Robert L. Phoebus to serve as Senior Vice President (SVP), Defense Sector. Mr. Phoebus has more than 30 years of industry experience that spans leadership positions in operations, product development, business development, project management, and consulting.

Mr. Phoebus is responsible for the operation and oversight of STG’s Defense Sector, which provides performance-based support for warfighter systems and IT operations for the Department of Defense (DoD), including enterprise network and server operations, cyber defense, weapons systems development, software and application development, enterprise architecture, Web design, business process reengineering, test and evaluation support, systems engineering and integration, enterprise help desk operations, and financial management.

Before joining STG, Mr. Phoebus served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Federal Resources Corporation (FRC), and prior to that provided leadership and management at Nortel Government Solutions, SAIC, and Electronic Data Systems (EDS). His proven record of developing winning strategies has resulted in more than $4B in contract wins over his career.
