IRVINE, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Kofax plc (LSE: KFX), a leading provider of capture enabled business process management (BPM) solutions, today announced that Craig Le Clair, Vice President and Principal Analyst at Forrester Research, Inc. and an expert on information management and BPM, will present the keynote address at Kofax’s Transform 2012 event, its annual customer and partner conference taking place in San Diego on March 12-13.
This year, BPM and case management will feature prominently in the Transform 2012 agenda, following Kofax’s recent acquisition of leading BPM and case management solution provider Singularity. Le Clair, whose research scope includes document centric BPM and specific business processes such as accounts payable automation, medical information management, customer onboarding and financial services compliance, will describe how the integration of capture, BPM and case management capabilities can enable users to invest in a single platform to transform their content centric business processes for improved customer service and an accelerated return on system investment through reduced human intervention, manual tasks and costs.
“With our recent acquisition of Singularity, Kofax customers can automate both the capture processes needed to enter content into enterprise applications and repositories as well as the downstream knowledge worker processes needed to effectively utilize that information,” said Martyn Christian, Chief Marketing Officer at Kofax. “Transform 2012 will provide a forum for learning directly from peers and partners who have used our capture enabled BPM solutions to automate all of their critical business processes and thereby enjoy a lower total cost of ownership and a faster return on investment.”
At Transform 2012, Kofax partners and customers will have the opportunity to attend multiple sessions on BPM in general and the Singularity offerings in particular. In addition, the Transform pre-conference agenda will also include an opportunity for customers to attend a BPM Practitioners Certificate program offered by the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM). The BPM Practitioner program covers the practice of BPM, business analysis, process improvement, flowcharting, process modeling, approaches to BPM, BPM technologies and collaboration.
Also featured at the event, Kofax will honor 11 standout customers and partners with prestigious Transform 2012 Awards. This global awards program recognizes thought leaders who have advanced capture enabled BPM in innovative ways and leveraged Kofax technology to deliver a measurable ROI to their organizations. Nominations for the Transform 2012 Awards may be submitted online at www.kofax.com/transform/ through January 20, finalists will be announced in late February and winners will receive their awards live on stage in San Diego on March 13.
The Transform 2012 awards will be judged by a panel of industry experts, including keynote speaker Le Clair; John Mancini, President of AIIM; Anthony Macciola, Chief Technology Officer at Kofax; and leading information capture analyst Harvey Spencer of Harvey Spencer Associates.
Kofax’s Transform 2012 event is a unique forum designed to help attendees gain practical insight into capture enabled BPM solutions and best practices.
