The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA®) will host a media lunch featuring Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) and Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) who will brief reporters on the Online Protection and Enforcement of Digital Trade (OPEN) Act. Wyden and Issa will discuss how the OPEN Act would fight rogue foreign websites without causing collateral damage to the innovators driving our economy. The OPEN Act is an innovation-friendly alternative to the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the Preventing Real Online Threats to Economic Creativity and Theft of Intellectual Property Act of 2011 (Protect-IP). | ||
