Ducommun Incorporated (NYSE:DCO) today announced that its Ducommun AeroStructures, Inc. (DAS) subsidiary has been awarded a multi-year contract by Spirit AeroSystems, Wichita, Kansas valued at $42 million for B737 and B777 titanium super plastic formed (SPF) and hot formed details and welded assemblies. The work will be performed at DAS's Parsons, Kansas facility.

Berenato, chairman and chief executive officer of Ducommun, stated, "The award of this long-term contract reaffirms our ability to provide outstanding quality and delivery at a competitive price. This contract typifies our continuing effort to provide higher value-added by migrating from a pure parts supplier to a value-added supplier of assemblies capable of taking on larger and more complex statements of work."
Ducommun AeroStructures manufactures large, complex structural components and assemblies in aluminum, specialty alloys such as titanium, metal bond and composites for a wide variety of military and commercial aerospace applications.
