Telstra Selects JDSU's HST-3000 to Ensure Quality Broadband Services
MILPITAS, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/10/12 -- JDSU (NASDAQ: JDSU) (TSX: JDU) announced today that Australia's Telstra has chosen the JDSU HST-3000 handheld test solution to ensure quality video, data and voice services. Telstra selected the HST-3000 for its ability to locate and proactively troubleshoot service-impacting issues in its copper and ADSL network infrastructure. Telstra provides services to more than 8.3 million fixed lines and 12.2 million mobile customers.
The HST-3000, widely deployed by major telecommunications service providers worldwide, supports multiple test requirements for broadband access networks, from the physical layer to the application layer for VoIP and packet video in IPTV, among other environments. Its modular design speeds the deployment of new network technologies and services, ensures a quality customer experience and reduces network expenses.
