Diligent Consulting Inc. Announces Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

SAN ANTONIO -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Diligent welcomes Mr. Richard L. Riney, III as its Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Mr. Riney brings a wealth of experience in strategic and financial planning, operations and business development that will lead Diligent into the next phase of growth in both the government and commercial markets.

Mr. Riney joins Diligent after four plus years as Senior Vice President (SVP) and General Manager of NCI Information Systems’ Air Force and Technology Services Group where he managed Profit and Loss (P&L) for a diverse portfolio of Information Technology (IT), Engineering, Medical, and Training programs. He was also instrumental in the smooth transition of Karta Technologies to NCI after its acquisition in July 2007. At Karta he served as SVP of Business Development and Proposals where he assembled and trained a workforce that built the Karta pipeline from less than $200M to over $1B in qualified opportunities, achieved an above-market win rate, and produced record bookings for the company. Prior to Karta, Mr. Riney spent 27 years with Lockheed Martin successfully performing in multiple P&L centers, program management, and technology and business development capture roles in a wide range of technical business lines.
