LOUIS -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Appistry, Inc., the world’s best company at solving complex, data intensive problems, today announced the formation of a Scientific and Technology Advisory Board to support the company’s development and commercialization of next-generation technologies for advanced data management. The advisory board includes leading influencers with extensive technical credibility and perspectives across disciplines as diverse as bioinformatics, genomic data analysis, defense and intelligence.
Appistry’s new board will share the company’s commitment to accelerating the development of innovative solutions and new approaches for Next Generation Sequencing, High-Throughput Computing, Personalized Medicine, High-Resolution Satellites and other breakthrough technologies. The board will team with internal and external stakeholders, including Dr. Richard Mazzarella, Appistry’s Senior Strategic Computational Biologist, and Michael Groner, the company’s Co-Founder and Chief Architect, to identify opportunities for solution design, pipeline development and other new business and strategic partnerships for the life sciences and defense industries.
Brian Athey Ph.D., Professor and Chair of the Department of Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics at the University of Michigan Medical School, will serve as the Chairman.
