Epizyme to Participate in Three Upcoming Conferences

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Epizyme, Inc., a company leading the discovery and development of personalized therapeutics for genetically-defined cancer patients based on breakthroughs in the field of epigenetics, today announced its participation in three upcoming conferences being held during February.

  • Robert Gould, Ph.D., President and CEO, will present at the Leerink Swann 2012 Global Healthcare Conference being held at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City on February 15, 2012 at 2:00 PM.
  • Dr. Gould will also present at the Citi 2012 Global Healthcare Conference, which is being held February 27-29, 2012, also at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City. Dr. Gould will present on Tuesday, February 28th, at 4:00 PM.
  • Jason P. Rhodes, Executive Vice President and CBO, will participate in the Featured Joint Presentation, “Investments, Partnerships & Acquisitions: Trends & Recent Deals,” at 8:00 AM, as well as a panel discussion at 10:55 AM on Monday, February 27th at the Oncology Partnering & Deal Making Conference being held at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa in Las Vegas, February 27-28, 2012. The conference is part of the Targets and Strategies in Drug Discovery Summit, hosted by the Global Technology Community (GTC).

Epizyme’s therapeutics discovery programs are focused on histone methyltransferases (HMTs), a class of epigenetic enzymes that play an important role in regulating pathways of genes that are strongly associated with the underlying causes of many human diseases, including cancer.
