FALLS CHURCH, Va. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The U.S. Navy awarded CSC (NYSE: CSC) a task order to provide engineering support to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD). With an estimated $38 million total contract value, the task order, which was signed during CSC’s fiscal 2012 second quarter, has a one-year base period and two one-year options. This task order was issued under the R2-3G contract vehicle, originally awarded to CSC in 2010.
Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will provide systems engineering to develop, upgrade, maintain and document the Joint Electronic Warfare Effects Laboratory (JEWEL) and Electronic Warfare Arena products. These services will include emerging threat studies and analysis, lab development, technology demonstrations, prototype development, integration and information assurance.
“Through this win, CSC will lead advancements in technology and testing of products to ensure the effective fielding of electronic warfare systems and solutions,” said Alan B.
