MTI Technology Corporation (Nasdaq Capital Market: MTIC), a multi-national storage solutions and services company, today announced it is the first North American technology reseller to integrate EMC(R) Celerra(TM) IP storage system with an EMC Centera(TM) content addressed storage (CAS) system to deliver a turn-key, cost-effective file management and archiving solution. Designed for mid-size enterprises and available through MTI's Consulting Services Group, the new solution will reduce costs, simplify data management and improve service levels.

MTI's file server consolidation and archiving solution provides customers with an integrated and simple low-cost means of consolidating their storage infrastructure by combining an EMC Celerra IP storage system and an EMC Centera CAS system. Also included in the solution is EMC Centera FileArchiver, a policy-based file movement software that automatically archives content --therefore enabling faster backup and recovery -- from the IP storage production system to the self-managed, self-healing CAS archive. Component integration is completed at MTI facilities, therefore speeding a more seamless implementation process.
