Akonix Security Center Publishes I'm Threat Watch for May 2006; Highest Number of Spim and Malware Filter Updates Issued This Ye

New worms identified in May include Browaf, Kassbot, Nugache and Propmsn. The most common attack was Tilebot, which had five variants of the original virus. Overall, Akonix security analysts issued a total of 14 new security policy updates, using the industry's only dynamic I'm malware, spim and protocol update system. This automatically pushes updates to customers and blocks worms and viruses in real-time at the network perimeter.
