DefenseWeb Technologies, Inc., a premier developer of customized enterprise software for Department of Defense (DoD) health care and quality of life organizations, today reported financial results from its most successful quarter since the company was founded in 1998.

By the numbers, third quarter sales, revenue, and profit were up more than 29% over the same period in 2005.

“We are thrilled with our record sales and revenue performance in the third quarter,” said DefenseWeb CEO Douglas Burke. “As we look to the fourth quarter and beyond, we are focused on ensuring that DefenseWeb remains well-positioned for continued growth and increased profitability.”

Among its key accomplishments, DefenseWeb was awarded 22 new and follow-on contracts, including the expansion of the company’s current work with the Army Community Service (ACS), which provides Web-based services in nine core Army program areas for family readiness staff, Soldiers and their families.

DefenseWeb’s Air Force Department won the prime contract to build and maintain a restricted information management system that will facilitate the Air Education and Training Command (AETC) Air University research under partnership with Northrop Grumman.

The company’s Navy Department partnered with BCP International Ltd. (BCPI) to design and support the Navy Ombudsman Registry, which will help facilitate and enhance communication with Navy ombudsmen and the Fleet and Family Support Program at U.S. Navy Headquarters.

DefenseWeb also solidified a number of follow-on contracts, including the Air Force Family Advocacy's FAPNet and the Family Advocacy System of Records (FASOR), TRICARE Management Activity’s Designated Provider Program, and the U.S. Army Reserve Family Programs (ARFP) Portal.

“Our goal is to create and deliver solutions that provide value above and beyond expectations,” said Burke. “The large number of new and follow-on contract wins in the third quarter reflects our company’s ongoing commitment to providing customers with best-in-breed technologies and services.”

In addition to its record sales performance, DefenseWeb was recognized by both Deloitte & Touche and the San Diego Business Journal as one of the fastest growing privately held companies in San Diego.
