DefenseWeb, a premier developer of customized enterprise software for Department of Defense (DoD) health care and quality of life organizations, today announced the expansion of the company’s San Diego and Washington offices with the appointment of industry professionals Henry Herz, Scott Kutos and Cheryl Wilner.
The company, which has posted strong sales and revenue increases in recent months, has grown staff by 20% since January 2006. Headquartered in San Diego, DefenseWeb also has offices in Washington, DC and San Antonio, TX.

Henry Herz, Program Manager, Navy and Marine Corps Department
As program manager for the company’s Navy and Marine Corps Department, Herz will be responsible for supervising sales managers, project managers and developers. With more than 20 years of experience, Herz joins DefenseWeb from TechFlow Inc., where he was director of Technical Services & Business Development. He has extensive expertise in the development and maintenance of Web and software applications, having served as Web Services Director for San Diego-based Computer Sciences Corp. and Web Program Director for Stellcom Inc.
Scott Kutos, Sales Manager, Army Department
Kutos joins the Washington, DC office as sales manager for the company’s Army Department, where he will be responsible for managing many of the company’s growing list of Army accounts. Prior to coming to DefenseWeb, Kutos was director of Business Development for Akima Intra-Data, where he was responsible for revenue retention and federal government and DoD sales. With more than ten years experience in the federal IT sector, Kutos has also held senior positions at Patriot Communications, Ericsson and GTSI.
Cheryl Wilner, Sales Manager, Army Department
Wilner also joins the company as a sales manager for the Army Department, where she will be responsible for managing Army accounts. Prior to joining DefenseWeb, Wilner was a major account manager, Channel & Federal Government RFID, at Printronix, where she was responsible for all sales management and revenue in the federal government sector and the mid-atlantic region. She brings nearly a decade of experience working with federal IT customers.
