LOS ANGELES--- Ducommun Incorporated Announces $17.5 Million Contract for Chinook CH-47 Helicopter Main Rotor Blade Abrasion Str

Ducommun Incorporated (NYSE:DCO) today announced that its Ducommun AeroStructures, Inc. (DAS) subsidiary has been awarded follow-on contracts from The Boeing Company valued at $17.5 million for Chinook CH-47 helicopter main rotor blade abrasion strips for use as both original equipment and replacement blades.

The main rotor blade abrasion strip contracts are additive to current production and extend deliveries into 2009. Boeing produces the Chinook CH-47 helicopter in Philadelphia, PA for the U.S. Army. The manufacture of the hot formed abrasion strips will be at DAS’s Gardena, California facility.
