Netlist, Inc. (NASDAQ:NLST) announced today that it has bolstered its management team with the hiring of three new senior executives. Jon Siann has been named to the position of Vice President, Marketing. Rick Hazell has been named to the newly created position of Vice President, Emerging Markets Sales, and Harrison Jin is the new Vice President, Manufacturing Technology & Operations, replacing Terry Quinn, the former Vice President of Manufacturing. All will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Chuck Hong.
Siann will be responsible for analyzing and prioritizing the Company's various product and development programs to shorten the time from investment to revenues, eliminate less profitable programs and enhance and accelerate the pipeline of high-margin business. Hazell will be responsible for all sales, excluding major OEMs. Jin will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing technology development and worldwide manufacturing operations.

Siann, 43, a resident of Rancho Santa Fe, CA, has a proven record for growing and launching product lines and brings more than 16 years of marketing experience in the semiconductor industry, including positions with Astute Networks, Applied Micro Circuits Corporation, Peregrine Semiconductor, Rockwell Semiconductor Systems, and IBM. Siann came to Netlist from Astute Networks where he was Vice President, Marketing and responsible for all strategic and tactical marketing as well as product management. Siann graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in electronic and electrical engineering from the University of Edinburgh in the UK.
Hazell, 45, a resident of Ladera Ranch, CA, is a top-performing global sales executive with more than 20 years of experience in technology and semiconductor sales. In previous positions with leading companies including Sanmina-SCI Corp., and Smart Modular Technologies, Inc., he was successful in penetrating new markets, capturing market share and accelerating corporate revenue growth. Hazell has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Law Enforcement from San Jose State University.
Jin, 48, a resident of Irvine, has two decades of experience in engineering and quality management in the semiconductor industry. Jin came to Netlist from Quadrant Components, Inc., where he spent over eight years as Vice President of Engineering and Research. He also oversaw Quadrant's China manufacturing and Korea sales and marketing operations. Prior to that, Jin spent more than 10 years with LG Semicon Co., Ltd. (currently Hynix Semiconductor Inc.) where he was a Director of Quality Assurance. Jin received a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea.
