SiliconSystems, Inc., a world leader in advanced storage technology, today announced plans to move its headquarters to a new 36,000 square foot office building in Aliso Viejo to support the company's continued rapid growth. The company will move into the new facility in November as part of its overall expansion plan to meet the explosive worldwide demand for its advanced storage technology. Over the next 12 months, the company expects to increase its staff by approximately 50 percent to meet customer and market needs.
SiliconSystems' existing facility was previously expanded in 2006 to accommodate the company's growing operations. Since then, space constrictions have called for some departments to be relocated off-site. Beginning in November, all departments will once again be consolidated into one larger headquarters office.
Major factors in selecting SiliconSystems' new headquarters location included its close proximity to the commuter-friendly 73 toll road and John Wayne Orange County Airport, which make it easily-accessible for employees, partners and customers.
"The fact that SiliconSystems has once again outgrown its facility is a testament to the growing need for our SiliconDrive advanced storage technology," said Michael Hajeck, CEO at SiliconSystems. "SiliconSystems' decision to further expand in Orange County is due to area's positive environment in which to build a high tech company and the company's ability to draw from a large pool of experienced technology professionals."
