Telscape Communications announced Mirjana Cvjeticanin as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. She joined Telscape after serving as Vice President of Corporate Strategy of Nextel Communications, as well as Nextel’s General Manager and Area Vice President for Northern California.

As a veteran of both the telecommunications and technology industry, Cvjeticanin brings a blended expertise, immigrant experience and determination for success to her stewardship of Telscape. Prior to Nextel, Cvjeticanin was Vice President, Western Division for Safeguard Business Systems Inc., and spent over 13 years at Xerox Corporation in a number of management positions. Cvjeticanin graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University.
