SAN DIEGO--- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Awarded Path Diversity Project Valued At $2.7 Million

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS) (formerly Wireless Facilities, Inc.), a leading national defense and security solutions provider, announced today that it has been awarded a contract from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) as part of the Path Diversity project to enhance redundant communications around twelve strategic locations, with the ultimate objective of providing 100 percent connectivity with no down time. The project, valued at approximately $2.7 million with a potential $3 million follow-on task order, began in October of 2007 and is expected to be completed by September of 2008.

As part of the contract announced today, Kratos Government Solutions, Inc. will design, coordinate and implement a divergent telecommunications path to enhance overall communications capabilities and to help ensure seamless connectivity with no down time. The project is related to prior work that Kratos has performed for DLA under the Enterprise Telecommunications Network program.
