NDC Appoints Doug Hutchison as Chief Commercial Officer

FREMONT, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Nitinol Devices & Components (NDC) today announced the appointment of Doug Hutchison as its Chief Commercial Officer effective December 31, 2012 to oversee all of NDC’s commercial activities relating to the design, development and manufacturing of medical devices using nitinol.

Mr. Hutchison was most recently the V.P. Sales, Business Development, Customer Service & Field Technical Service for OmniGuide in Boston, MA. Previously, he served as Global Director of Marketing for Medtronic Vascular and held a number of senior sales and marketing roles at various companies including Intuitive Surgical, Genzyme Surgical and Omnisonics. He received a B.S. in Management from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
