SAN DIEGO--- DefenseWeb Technologies, Inc. selected for DOD health protection, readiness IT support initiative

DefenseWeb Technologies, Inc., a premier custom software developer and systems integrator for U.S. Defense and other federal government agencies, announced today its participation in an IT support program for the agency responsible for the health policies of U.S. military deployments.

The company will support technology and Web development initiatives for the Force Health Protection and Readiness Program Office under a new four-year, $23 million contract.

The contract, led by Vangent, Inc., outlines systems integration, operations and IT maintenance services support requirements to be conducted on behalf of the agency, including the administration and management of networks that information of various security classification degrees. The initiative’s purpose is to offer DOD employees seamless access to communications and data in order to provide coordinated care to service members stationed at locations worldwide.
