The Kiran Consortium Group, LLC, Appoints Helen L. Hill, FHIMSS, Executive Director

CHICAGO -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Kiran Consortium Group, LLC, (TKCG), a privately-owned, healthcare global advisory and professional services firm, today announced that Helen L. Hill, FHIMSS, has joined the firm as Executive Director. In her new role, Ms. Hill will be responsible for working closely with healthcare executives as well as local, state and federal health entities in an advisory capacity to offer strategic advice for planning and operations and determine best healthcare information exchange (HIE) and healthcare information technology (HIT) practices.

A nationally recognized expert in healthcare information technology (HIT), health information exchange (HIE), identity assurance and healthcare public policy, Ms. Hill has more than thirty years comprehensive experience in Healthcare IT as a consultant, product developer, project director and executive for national consulting firms, integrated healthcare delivery systems, software vendors, healthcare industry associations, insurers and physician practices. Currently the Director of Public-Private Initiatives with the South East Michigan Health Information Exchange (SEMHIE), and a Board Member of MiHIN Shared Services, Michigan’s State-Level HIE, Ms. Hill acts as an official representative to the Social Security Administration Community of the eHealth Exchange. Providing leadership and industry knowledge, her recent efforts include securing a Beacon Community Award, acting as Deputy Program Manager for the Social Security Administration’s e-Disability Claims Contract and as Program Manager of the Transitions of Care Reference Implementation pilot for the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) Standards & Interoperability Framework.
