Talend Appoints Jim Foy as Executive Chairman

LOS ALTOS, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Talend, the global integration software leader, today announced the appointment of James D. Foy to the role of Executive Chairman.

Bringing over four decades of experience in the software technology sector, Foy has extensive experience with building successful private and public companies. His many successes include founding Constellation Software, an object technology company, where he was CEO. After he sold Constellation to Ardent, he became Head of Engineering. Ardent was then acquired by Informix Software, of which Foy later became President. He later joined Davox as CEO and after a number of successful acquisitions became CEO of Aspect Software and most recently served as its Executive Chairman of the Board.

Foy has also served on the board of X/Open, Unix International and the Object Management Group as well as several other privately held companies. He is currently serving on the boards of Kalido, LiveLOOK and Dealertrack Technology, a public company.
