CES on the Hill Brings Technology Innovation to Nation’s Capital

WHAT:

CES on the Hill, an invitation-only event produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)®, returns to the nation’s capital on April 16. CES on the Hill provides policymakers the opportunity to interact with the technology companies and products that are changing the way we live, work and play. New for this year, CEA will have a dedicated showcase area for exhibitors from the Eureka Park TechZone at the 2013 International CES®, the world’s leading innovation event, focused on startups and entrepreneurs. Members of Congress, key Hill staff and DC media will experience the innovative technologies at the center of today’s policy debates.

 
Also, the ninth annual Digital Patriots Dinner on April 17 will honor the year’s foremost industry and policy leaders behind cutting-edge technology and the legal and regulatory framework that allows the CE industry to flourish.

*Proceeds from the Digital Patriots Dinner will be donated to Bright Beginnings and the CEA Foundation. Bright Beginnings is a nationally-accredited child and family development center that provides comprehensive educational, therapeutic, health and family service programs for homeless families with young children. The CEA Foundation is a national foundation with the mission to link seniors and people with disabilities with technologies to enhance their lives. Focused on strategic support of programs to impact these communities, the foundation launched its first series of grants in 2012.
