BARCELONA -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- RACO Wireless, the leading provider of wireless machine-to-machine (M2M) solutions, announced today that it has reached an agreement with Sprint that will allow RACO’s customers access to Sprint’s nationwide CDMA and LTE networks. This agreement will make it even easier for providers of M2M solutions to meet the needs of their growing customer bases by expanding the choices of available network carriers and technologies.

Customers of RACO Wireless have the ability to enable the services and features that best fit the needs of their business. Similar to the customizability that RACO offers customers to manage individual devices based on usage or location, customers will now be able to choose their preferred technology (CDMA, GSM, LTE) and network carrier.

“The success of our business model has been predicated on making it easy for our customers to do business, and this agreement really enhances that proposition,” said John Horn, president of RACO Wireless. “We are very happy to be working with Sprint, and we are excited to offer Sprint’s diverse coverage and robust network to our customers through our award-winning Omega Management Suite.”

Sprint’s CDMA-based service will be made available through the Omega Management Suite portal, providing customers with the flexibility to select and manage the appropriate technology for their M2M solutions, all with one single login. This offering will enhance RACO’s current nationwide GSM offering, while maintaining the simplicity of device and account management from one portal.

“At Sprint, we enable our customers to be successful by providing them with a customized suite of value added, end-to-end solutions that help drive their revenues, profits and subscriber growth,” said Bill Esrey, vice president, Wholesale – Sprint. “We are grateful to work with eager companies like RACO Wireless to help power their success.”

Sprint expects its 4G LTE network to cover 200 million Americans by the end of 2013.

“More and more, we are finding that our M2M partners want choices,” Horn said. “They want customizability without sacrificing simplicity. This agreement with Sprint signifies our commitment to meeting those demands while supporting our customers’ needs regardless of network technology choice.”
