Vivint Hires Chris Gera as VP of Field Service

PROVO, Utah -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Vivint™, the largest home automation services company in North America, announced the appointment of Chris Gera as the company’s new vice president of field service. In this position, Gera will manage Vivint’s field service professionals and the software and infrastructure needed to provide a world-class customer experience including: training, scheduling, licensing, safety procedures, and installation.

Before joining Vivint, Chris worked with Nielsen, a global leader in measurement and information. Nielsen provides clients with the understanding of what consumers watch and buy in over 100 countries around the world. Over the course of 27 years, Gera served in numerous roles including vice president of field operations, vice president of information and support services, and global strategic program leader. In his various positions, Chris was directly responsible for client deliverables, client problem resolution, strategic planning, financial management, and more.

As Vivint’s vice president of field service, Gera will lead a team of nearly 750 field service professionals, providing on ongoing commitment to providing fast, quality, and award winning service to more than 700,000 customers across North America. Vivint’s focus on keeping all customer service, installation, and monitoring in house enables the company to deliver unmatched consistency and quality in the customer experience.
