ORLANDO, Fla., March 5, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- RealTime Immersive Inc., a simulation and serious games company, announced that the U.S. Navy, Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD), has licensed CryENGINE(®) to build a virtual representation of each class of the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) and courseware for train to qualify, train to certify, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ship familiarization.
LCS courseware, being developed by Cubic Simulation Systems, will leverage the CryENGINE(®) license. The courseware is estimated to be approximately 10,000 hours developed over the next five years for the LCS1 variant, LCS2 variant, and LCS Mission Packages. Crew members will be engaged in a virtual world representation of the ship where they can attain the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform tasks associated with specific shipboard activities.
