Faith Wonderworks Establishes Infant and Child Educational App Specialty Label "Kids App Planet"

TOKYO -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Faith Wonderworks, Inc. (FWW) that is known for its mobile entertainment site in Japan established "Kids App Planet"- a new label specializing in educational for smartphones and tablets geared for infants and children.

The "Kids App Planet" app brand provides environments for learning while having fun, fostering thinking skills and sensitivity with smartphone and tablet apps aimed at the 'digitally native' generation of preschoolers aged 0 to 6 years. In every app released, no letters are used except in the titles. The design of this worldwide-released app employs an intuitive user interface that focuses on sights and sounds, enabling children to have fun beyond the confines of language and words.

The first release, "Tap & Sound:WONDER RHYTHM2 0+", is available Friday, March 8th, 2013. "Wonder Rhythm 2" is a rhythm game, and sequel to "Tap and Play WONDER RHYTHM," which achieved 200,000 downloads since its release in November of last year. Playing scenarios include three perennial children's favorites from which to choose and enjoy realistic sounds and movement: "Animals in the Forest," "March of the Ducks," and "Creatures of the Sea." The colors used are easily recognized by infants so that even in their early months, children can develop a sense of rhythm and sensitivity similar to the popular 'eurythmic' musical educational method.

Future line-up plans include approximately 5 title releases scheduled between March and April. Future expansion plans in FWW's sights include hosting in-store events at shops that handle childcare goods, and the co-development of other original applications.
