PowerNet Global Wins 2013 Medical Mutual Pillar Award for Community Service

CINCINNATI -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- For the third year in a row, PowerNet Global has received the 2013 Medical Mutual Pillar Award for Community Service, presented by Smart Business Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky. One of 10 winners in their category, PowerNet Global was recognized for its outstanding contributions to a wide variety of non-profit organizations.

The award recognizes the tie between the for-profit and nonprofit worlds by honoring organizations and individuals for positively impacting the region and strengthening the community.

“At PowerNet Global, we feel our business success is a blessing. We’re compelled to share that by giving back to our community,” said Allison Stevens, Chief Operating Officer of the 125 employee company, located in Fairfield.

“In fact, giving is such an ingrained part of our culture that when we reached our 20-year milestone in October 2012, we celebrated by donating more than 1,000 hours to Matthew 25: Ministries,” Stevens explained, noting that the employees were able to volunteer at the international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization while still getting paid for a full day of work.

PowerNet Global focuses on supporting local organizations.
