WARRENDALE, Pa. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. and CoreSite will join forces at DatacenterDynamics Converged New York this week to present a case study entitled “CoreSite Reduces TCO for its Data Center.” The conference will be held on March 12, 2013 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square.
Billie Haggard, senior vice president of datacenters for CoreSite and John Steele, inside sales manager for Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. will present the case study. The presentation will discuss how CoreSite selected Mitsubishi Electric Power Products’ 1.5 MW Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system for its 60,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art co-location facility in Santa Clara, Calif. With respect to redundancy, the UPS can be configured as an N+1 or 2N system, which allowed CoreSite to scale power requirements to its customers’ needs.
The case study will include specific metrics regarding costs of equipment, installation, and operation. The presentation will also provide specifics on the system’s low total cost of ownership, including numbers substantiating the system’s efficiency and reduced installation time afforded by the unique multi-module design of Mitsubishi’s MegaPod® system.
