Bioserv Corporation Appoints Two New Members to its Executive Team

SAN DIEGO -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Bioserv Corporation, a provider of pharmaceutical, medical device, medical diagnostic, and biotechnology cGMP contract manufacturing, clinical packaging, and cold chain and distribution services, is pleased to announce the appointment of two key additions to its executive team. Rich Richieri has been appointed President and Chief Operations Officer and Jennifer Collins has been appointed Vice President of Quality Assurance.

Rich brings over 19 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong track record leading manufacturing operations, most recently at Peregrine Pharmaceutical/Avid Bioservices. Jennifer has a strong background in Quality Assurance in the pharmaceutical industry and has over 17 years of industry experience which included working as the Site Quality Head at SAFC.

About new appointments

Rich Richieri

Rich Richieri, President and Chief Operations Officer, comes to Bioserv Corporation with over 19 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and with a strong track record leading manufacturing operations in contract manufacturing organizations. Prior to joining Bioserv, Rich spent over 16 years with Peregrine Pharmaceuticals/Avid Bioservices, where he held the senior position of Vice President of Manufacturing and Technical Operations. Previously, Rich spent three years with XOMA in various process development and operations roles.

Rich holds an MS degree in Chemical Engineering from UCSD and a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from UCLA.

Jennifer Collins

Jennifer Collins, Vice President of Quality Assurance, joins Bioserv Corporation with a strong track record in quality, regulatory, and compliance within the pharmaceutical industry. Jennifer has a strong background in Quality Assurance and has over 17 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Bioserv, Jennifer was a consultant at Validant, held various positions at Chiron Technologies Center for Gene Therapy, and most recently worked 12 years with SAFC where she acted as the Site Quality Head.

Jennifer holds an MS degree in Instructional Technology from the Rhode Island College and a BS degree in Biology from Long Island University.
