EPIC Technologies Announces the Appointment of Joe Rogers as Senior Vice President of Global Operations

DENVER -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- EPIC Technologies has named Joe Rogers senior vice president of global operations. In his new position, he is responsible for all of EPIC’s manufacturing operations in the U.S., Mexico and the European Union, its corporate engineering function in Johnson City, TN, and corporate quality.

“Joe brings a unique set of qualifications to EPIC. His more than 30 years of experience in the electronics industry includes positions at original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and contract manufacturers. He has seen the outsourcing relationship from both sides. As a result, he understands the issues that both parties bring to the table and is well positioned to help us to continue to enhance both customer responsiveness and the systems and processes necessary to support that effort. Additionally, he has significant experience in managing large-scale global manufacturing operations which works well with our goal of continuing international expansion,” said Bhawnesh Mathur, EPIC’s CEO.

Previously, Rogers served as vice president, operations at American Computer Development, Inc. (ACDI). He was earlier associated with JDS Uniphase Corporation, Andrew Corporation, REMEC and Hughes Network Systems in a range of executive-level operations and quality management positions. He was also associated with DH Technology, Electronic Surface Mounted Industries, Inc., Infomag and Applied Magnetics in operations and plant management capacities.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and business economics from Westmont College.
