ANAHEIM, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Reflex Photonics today announced that it will be showing its latest product, a 40 Gbps duplex LightABLE™ optical engine module as well as solutions from its parallel channel product line at the Optical Fiber Communication Conference/National Fiber Optics Engineers Conference (OFC/NFOEC) in Anaheim, California from March 19 – 21st, 2013.
The 8-channel (4 TX and 4 RX) 40 Gbps LightABLE optical engine provides bi-directional electrical-to-optical / optical-to-electrical connectivity of over 300 meters using parallel channel, multimode optical fiber cable. This 300 m reach is 3x the distance required by the IEEE 40GBASE-SR4 standard. The LightABLE™ offers a high density, lower power solution for 40GASE-SR4 40 Gbps Ethernet, OTU3, QDR InfiniBand™, PCIe 3.0 and proprietary backplane interconnections.
Reflex Photonics will showcase a variety of high speed parallel channel, optical data communications solutions including:
