Science Applications International Corporation (NYSE:SAI) today announced it has been awarded a prime contract by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center - Pacific (SSC Pacific) to provide the Pacific Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) department with engineering and technical support services. The multiple-award contract has a one year base period of performance, four one-year options and a total value of more than $26 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed primarily in Hawaii and Guam.
Since 1997, SAIC has provided engineering and management services to SSC Pacific for navigation, Global Positioning System (GPS), command and control, and navigation warfare systems development. Under this contract, SAIC will provide SSC Pacific's C4ISR department with services including testing and evaluation, hardware design, software/database development, engineering, change proposal development, drafting and computer networking, and operations and maintenance support.
