IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- University Medical Pharmaceuticals, a leading developer and distributor of medically developed and efficacy-based skin and beauty care products sold at more than 40,000 mass market retail locations throughout the U.S., announced today that it has appointed Tom Roche as Senior Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing.
Mr. Roche, a beauty care and retail sales and marketing expert with more than 25 years of consumer packaged goods experience, now oversees all of the company's worldwide sales and marketing programs. Currently he is focused on the trade and consumer introduction of extensions to the company's WrinkleFree line. Mr. Roche reports to Raymond Francis, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Most recently Mr. Roche was Vice President of Field Sales for Maybelline-Garner, a division of L'Oreal USA. At Maybelline, Mr. Roche helped build the Nutritioniste brand into a $100 million-plus line for the company. He has also held executive positions with Pfizer/Warner-Lambert Company managing oral care and consumer healthcare product lines, and Schwarzkopf & Dep, a division Henkel Corporation, where Mr. Roche opened up new international markets and retail channels for the company's hair styling products.
