SAN FRANCISCO -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Lithium Technologies, the leader in Social Customer Experience, today announced that it has been recognized by Forrester Research, Inc. as a leader in the “The Forrester Wave™: Social Depth Platforms, Q3 2013”1 report. The report evaluated select community and social depth marketing technology providers on their ability to help turn a brand’s website into a social hub.

Lithium ranked No. 1 in the current offering category -- the Lithium Social Customer Experience Platform™ -- and received the highest score in strategy among the companies that Forrester invited to participate in the report that evaluated technology providers against 57 comprehensive evaluation criteria. Lithium also received the highest rank in the leadership category.

The Forrester report highlights the importance for brands to turn their websites into content-rich destinations given the ability of social activity to drive site traffic and the strong influence of user-generated content on buying behavior.
