LOS ANGELES, Aug. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ATLX ("Athletics, Training, Lifestyle"), the only 24/7 sports entertainment television network fully dedicated to everyday athletes and athletic lifestyle, announced the launch of a new original web series, the INsiders. The series takes viewers behind the scenes and into the domains of world-class coaches, sports doctors, sports psychologists, sports nutritionists and other leading experts. The INsiders is the first in a string of original web productions in advance of the 2014 ATLX TV network launch.
"For our world of 120 million-plus everyday athletes and those who aspire to a more athletic lifestyle, the INsiders series pulls back the curtain and talks with highly specialized experts, inviting ATLX viewers to gain insights as well as valuable knowledge from some of the top specialists in our field," said John Moser, EVP-Programming and Development, ATLX. "We think of them as the 'athletes behind the athletes.' This series allows the beginner, the weekend warrior and the elite athlete at any life stage to be on the inside of coaching, performance, training, sports medicine and nutrition."
The initial INsiders productions showcase the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa) Master Coaches and member coaches from the top NCAA athletic programs. These experts share their insights, experience and coaching techniques as well as provide practical advice for everyday athletes.
"No one spends more time with the student athlete, no one wears as many hats as they do and no one has a greater impact on the student athlete than the strength and conditioning coach," said Dr. Chuck Stiggins, founder and executive director, CSCCa. "We're excited about our partnership with ATLX as well as sharing the depth of knowledge and experience of our member coaches with everyday athletes of all ages and levels of ability."
ATLX (www.atlxtv.com) will launch its sports entertainment television network in 2014 with an extensive slate of original entertainment and informational programming, including reality, news/talk, biography, documentary, competition formats, lifestyle, technology, sports medicine and performance cooking. While the major sports networks do an impressive job of delivering live sporting events and the experience of being a fan, ATLX delivers a destination lifestyle network and the experience of being an athlete.
ATLX (www.atlxtv.com), set to launch in 2014, is the only 24/7 sports entertainment television network fully dedicated to everyday athletes and an athletic lifestyle. ATLX has forged affinity and marketing partnerships with major sports and sports affiliated organizations across the country. The network continues to expand such partnerships as well as others in the areas of childhood obesity and safety in youth sports, two causes for which ATLX is lending its advocacy, support, PSAs and help in driving awareness. Headquartered in Los Angeles, ATLX was founded by Mohamed Mohsen, Jacob Arback and a veteran team of senior executives with a track record of success in the cable network television, sports and fitness industries.
