FRESNO, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Electronic Recyclers International (ERI), the nation’s leading recycler of electronic waste, announced today that it has expanded its Fresno facility by an additional 40,000 sq. ft. This expansion brings the physical size of ERI’s Fresno recycling operations to more than 250,000 sq. ft.
The steadily growing ERI has grown the physical size of its Fresno operations to accommodate its enormous shredder (the largest and most efficient of its kind in the world), and its rapidly growing Asset Management Department. ERI leases the space from Diversified Development Group.
“We’re very proud of the growth we’ve achieved in our home town of Fresno over the last several years,” said John Shegerian, Chairman and CEO of ERI. “Now, with the continuous growth of the electronic recycling and urban mining markets, we simply need to make more space to accommodate the expanding electronic recycling needs of California and beyond. This new space directly between our existing CRT glass facility and our shredder facility will enable us to further grow our asset management department.”
“ERI is a fast-paced, innovative and constantly growing company,” said Marcus Pignotti, of Diversified Development Group. “It has been a great experience having ERI as our tenants at this state-of-the-art, green facility. We’re excited to be able to accommodate their continued growth and expansion. It’s rewarding to be working with them as they continue their evolution as an industry leading innovator!”
