WASHINGTON -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- No Greater Sacrifice (NGS), a nonprofit dedicated to the education of the children of our nation’s fallen and wounded Service members, announces the creation of the NGS Chairman’s Council. The Council marks an acceleration of the organization’s mission and growth through enhanced strategic leadership and increased access to wide-ranging industry experience.
NGS has provided more than $4.5 million in donations and support to 40 recipients who now have their post-high school education funded. To serve the growing need and awareness of the organization’s mission, the Council will work collectively with NGS Leadership including the Executive Director, Rebekah Lovorn, Board Members, Executive Patrons and pro bono partner, Sapient Government Services.
“The creation of this volunteer Council is a significant milestone for NGS as we increase concentration in critical areas to raise awareness and support our Service members and their families, and we are looking forward to their leadership and vision for NGS initiatives,” comments John J. Brown, No Greater Sacrifice Chairman.
As an essential investment of critical resources, the Council will provide strategic and tactical support for NGS’ mission by setting the direction and executing activities within four primary focus areas: Finance, Communications, Development, and Events.
