ConteXtream has grown its business by 200 percent in the last year. The addition of Anshu Agarwal as vice president of marketing; Aviva Gatt as vice president of global human resources and Tim Timon as vice president of technical services and support, will further advance the company’s growth through specific recruiting and marketing initiatives, and superior post-sales customer support. The company has also added networking pioneer Dino Farinacci as a member of the Board of Advisors.

The company’s new Vice President of Marketing, Anshu Agarwal, joins ConteXtream with extensive networking-specific marketing experience. Previously, Agarwal held marketing leadership positions at Juniper Networks, Ankeena, (acquired by Juniper Networks) and Level 3 Communications. As Vice President of Marketing, Agarwal will spearhead product management and strategy, product marketing, and marketing communications efforts.
With more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources, ConteXtream’s new Vice President of Global Human Resources, Aviva Gatt, will be building the global organization and processes necessary to continue the rapid growth of the company. Gatt previously served as vice president of global human resources at LiveU and vice president of human resources at Convergin, (acquired by Oracle).
Tim Timon, is a seasoned support veteran of network hardware and enterprise software markets having held senior services and post-sales support positions at Dell, F10 Networks, Brocade, and Rovi. As ConteXtream’s Vice President, Technical Services and Support, Timon will lead the company’s customer support efforts in the areas of deployment, integration, technical support, and professional services.
Newly appointed advisory board member Dino Farinacci is a pioneer in the networking industry. As one of the first two Cisco Fellows appointed, Farinacci specializes in routing protocols where he has intimate knowledge and implementation experience with IS-IS, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IGMP, PIM, and MSDP, as well as IPv6 and MPLS protocols. He has been a member of the IETF for nearly 25 years making many contributions over this period of time. He is credited with the leadership and development of Locator Identifier Separation Protocol (LISP) while at Cisco. He also did the NX-OS implementation of LISP. ConteXtream and Farinacci are working together to optimize multicast and content delivery over SDN LISP Overlays. LISP distributed overlay architecture has multiple deployed uses in the core Internet, and was adopted by ConteXtream as the basis for structured SDN control federation. ConteXtream’s LISP-based SDN mapping service, recently contributed to OpenDaylight and is used to map mobile subscriber flows to functions and content.
