Entitled, InfiniBand – a mature, open and fast unified fabric with SDN DNA, Dr. Southwell will introduce the high-performance open-standard InfiniBand protocol as a highly attractive system area data center fabric. About Dr. David Southwell
David holds a Doctorate in Electronics Systems (University of York, British Telecom Research Laboratory). In 2000, he co-founded the pioneering clustered InfiniBand storage startup YottaYotta; high performance coherent geo-distribution (now EMC). In 2005, Dr. Southwell co-founded Obsidian to develop enabling hardware and software technology platforms for the emerging InfiniBand protocol.
