ATLANTA, Oct. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- America's Youngest Picker", 8-year-old Connor McCrory from Pasadena, Calif., has announced the launch of his business--Estate Sales by Connor. McCrory's inaugural estate sale will take place Oct. 11-12 in La Canada, Calif.
While McCrory, third-grader, has been attending estate sales, flea markets and antique shows with his parents for several years, gaining knowledge and experience about the antiques trades, he would not be able to make this huge step without relying upon WorthPoint's Worthopedia--the largest online price guide of more than 175 million sales records.
McCrory is using an iPad, given to him by WorthPoint founder and CEO Will Seippel, to identify and price the items in the estate through the WorthPoint mobile application.
"It's totally the best," he said about the mobile app. "It's better than eBay because is has more stuff from auctions and it has better dates and descriptions."
"While there is a concern that antiques and collectibles is being ignored by our younger generations, it is encouraging to find someone so young with such a great passion for this business," said Seippel, who is planning on attending McCrory's inaugural sale. "The team at WorthPoint is happy to be involved in the launch of his business."
